International Day of People with Disability
To mark International Day of People with Disability the Hume Global Learning Centre in Sunbury will be the venue for a free festival of performing arts.
The festival will feature an original piece of work by BoilOver Performance Ensemble called The Birds, a roving physical theatre production which recently premiered at the Melbourne Fringe. There will also be a performance of Momentum by the Women’s Circus as well as stalls, workshops and other entertainment.
The festival is an opportunity for both those with disability and the broader community to come together to celebrate diversity and inclusion and recognise the valuable contribution people with disability make to the arts.
