The much-missed NAB bank reopened in Sunbury on Wednesday 30 April following the closure of its Brook St branch more than a year ago.
The bank’s new branch at 79-81 Evans St cost $2m to fit out and features a 24/7 lobby, two ATMs, and a Business Express machine.
Branch manager Annie Hosni says: “The team has loved welcoming back all of our wonderful customers to the freshly revamped branch. We feel like we’re more than just a bank in Sunbury – we’re a part of the community.”
NAB executive retail Victoria Belinda Mamet says: “While most transactions are done online these days there’s still something special about being greeted by a friendly face at the bank counter.
“Australians love great banking apps and online services, but when it really matters, they want a fantastic team like the one we have at Sunbury to help them out.”
