Kangan Institute and Salesian College Sunbury will offer the Sunbury community practical, hands-on vocational raining in traditional trades and emerging industries thanks to a partnership signed by the two organisations.
“This partnership is a bold and future-focused initiative that underscores our commitment to innovative education models,” says Mark Brockhus, Principal of Salesian College Sunbury.
“By enabling students to learn where they live and work, we are creating sustainable solutions that strengthen our community and prepare individuals for meaningful careers.”
Kangan Institute’s CEO, Sally Curtain, says the partnership with Salesian College brings together shared expertise to “…provide access to practical, in-demand training that will help Sunbury residents build successful and fulfilling careers”.
Kangan Institute will run a new $25m TAFE campus to be built on a 2,900sqm greenfield site between Evans St and O’Shamassy St. It is due to open in 2028.
