Updated: Seven County Fire Authority fire trucks along with Fire Rescue Victoria were called to put out a house fire along Vineyard Rd, Sunbury, at around 11.45pm, Sunday 16 March.
The property was fully ablaze by the time firefighters from Hoppers Crossing, Sunbury, Diggers Rest, and Toolern Vale arrived. The fire was deemed under control at 1.33am and safe at 2.46am. There were no injuries.
While the cause of the blaze is unclear, police are treating it as suspicious. A man was arrested near the scene and interviewed. He was released pending further investigation.
