The Sunbury Business Association is hoping to spark debate on the future of the town’s retail and business sectors with a forum backed by Hume City Council.
Keynote speaker will be Liz Joldeski, a small business expert and executive officer with small business advocacy group Mainstreet Australia.
Joldeski describes herself as an impact-driven leader with more than 20 years’ experience in economic development, government relations, leadership, strategy, and stakeholder engagement.
Sunbury Business Association bosses say the event will create an opportunity for an “open discussions as well as brainstorming sessions with fellow Sunbury small business owners, community members, and key stakeholders”.
Organisers hope the forum will give business owners a chance to contribute, suggest discussion points, and ideas to “enhance the vibrancy and prosperity of Sunbury’s town centre”.
They’ll be refreshments on the night and a chance for informal networking, to build connections with fellow local business owners and community leaders.
