Transit Crime Investigation Unit detectives arrested a group of youths after an alleged attempted robbery in Melbourne’s CBD on Sunday 21 April.
Police were called after a 15-year-old boy was approached by a group of teenagers at a train station platform on Latrobe St at just before 6pm.
It’s alleged the group stood over the boy, while one of the teens demanded his shoes. The victim managed to flee and reported the alleged incident station staff. The group fled empty handed and were arrested nearby.
A 16-year-old St Albans girl, a 15-year-old Sunbury boy, and a 14-year-old Sunbury girl were released pending summons. The 14-year-old St Albans boy was issued with a caution.
