In response to growing safety concerns, the Sunbury Business Association is teaming up with local police to host a dedicated forum for business owners in the area.
The event aims to provide vital updates, practical advice, and an opportunity for business operators to speak directly with police about issues impacting their livelihood. A key focus will be recent break-ins targeting Gap Road shops, which have prompted calls for increased police presence and stronger preventative measures.
The forum will feature a detailed update from police on the current safety landscape in Sunbury, including ongoing efforts to address local crime and future priorities for the precinct. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in an open Q&A session, where they can raise concerns and ask questions directly to the police liaison team.
Organisers say the event is about more than just information – it’s a chance to build stronger partnerships between law enforcement and the local business community.
Business owners are encouraged to book a free ticket by Monday 23 June for the Tuesday 24 June event that’s being held at The Gap Bar & Grill, Gap Rd, and take part in the conversation.
