Police hunt for camera car vandal

Police are still hunting a vandal who damaged one of its camera cars last year. The car was in Wilsons Ln on 30 November when a man approached it from Carter Rd. Police allege he jumped onto its bonnet, climbed onto the car’s roof, and sprayed its rear window with pink paint.

Police say the man also smashed one of the car’s front headlights before leaving in the direction of Marjorie Av. The occupant of the car, a 43-year-old man, was not injured.

The alleged offender is believed to be Caucasian, about 187cm tall, and was wearing a black face mask, black T-shirt, shorts, and brown work boots.
