Kismet Park Primary School is set to dazzle audiences with its latest school production, Living In Colour – a vibrant and uplifting performance that promises to be a highlight of the 2025 school calendar.
Directed by performing arts teacher and former Kismet Park student David Bigger, Living In Colour is an original story filled with energy, heart, and a powerful message.
Set in a world drained of colour, the play follows four curious children who embark on a magical journey to rediscover a brighter, more joyful world.
Along the way, they meet a mysterious woman who remembers the world as it once was – bursting with colour and life. Their adventure becomes a mission to bring that vibrancy back, rekindling joy, imagination, and hope.
Mr Bigger’s personal connection to the school makes the project even more meaningful.
“As a former student, I remember how magical these productions were,” he says. “Now, as a teacher, it’s incredibly special to help create the same opportunity for the next generation of students.
“For many students, this may be a once-in-a-lifetime experience; a moment where confidence is built, talents are discovered, and lifelong memories are made.”
Performances are due to take place in September, tickets will go on sale shortly.
