Hume City Council is inviting residents to take part in its Enviro Champions program, which provides training and support for community-led environmental and sustainability projects.
Since launching in 2012, more than 200 people have completed the program and gone on to deliver more than 80 projects across the city.
The program includes a two-day introductory course, a series of three masterclasses, and access to council support for participants ready to develop a project. Council says participants do not need a project idea to take part, with the program open to anyone with an interest in sustainability and environmental action.
Each component of the program is optional.
