Kindergarten operators can now apply to a government fund to increase inclusivity for children of all abilities.
Building Blocks Inclusion Grants can be used to upgrade early childhood education centres and buy specialist equipment.
Through the inclusion stream of Building Blocks, kindergarten managers can apply for up to $200,000 cash to upgrade buildings and playgrounds. Up to $10,000 is also available for specialist equipment, such as mobility stools or sensory equipment.
Since its launch in 2020, Building Blocks has provided more than $235 million to plan, build, and improve early childhood services across the state.
