The Sunbury branch of the Nab bank, ‘temporarily’ closed in January this year for building work remain shut eight months on. The bank’s ATM has also suffered routine outages leaving customers frustrated.
The bank has so far refused to elaborate on the works in hand, or provide a re-opening date for its customers.
This week, a spokesperson for the Brook St branch said: “Due to a delay in building works the Sunbury branch remains temporarily closed.
“We apologise to our customers for any disruption this may cause to their banking and we will keep them updated on the branch re-opening as soon as we can.
“Access to the ATM has also been impacted by the building works and unfortunately is out of order.”
Customers can continue to deposit or withdrawal funds and make balance enquiries at the Sunbury Post Shop.”
