Music lovers are in for a nostalgic treat with the launch of Reelin’ in the Years with Chris Ball, a brand new show on community favourite Sunbury Radio starting this Saturday 2 August.
Broadcasting every Saturday from 12 noon to 3pm, Mr Ball says each show will take listeners on a musical journey through one unforgettable year from the 1950s to the 1980s as he plays classic top 40 hits.
In each Reelin’ in the Years show Mr Ball says he will dive into the original music charts from legendary radio stations of the past, counting down the hits just as they were heard back in the day – “complete with the energy, flair and fun that defined Top 40 radio’s golden age”.
“From rock ’n’ roll to Motown, British Invasion to disco, and new wave to early pop classics, Reelin’ in the Years is a celebration of the timeless sounds that shaped generations,” says Mr Ball.
