The Sunbury Agricultural Show will return to Clarke Oval on Saturday 10 October 2026, with organisers encouraging locals to start planning entries and activities for one of the town’s biggest annual community events.
The volunteer-run show is again expected to feature a wide mix of attractions, including food stalls, entertainment, crafts, animals, machinery displays and community exhibits, continuing its focus on family-friendly, hands-on experiences.
In a push to boost participation across the community, organisers have confirmed that all pavilion entries for 2026 will again be free. Residents are being urged to get involved early, particularly those with skills in baking, painting, knitting, crafting, gardening and other creative or horticultural pursuits.
The call for entries is aimed at showcasing local talent inside the pavilion competitions, which traditionally form a key part of the show’s programme alongside outdoor displays and entertainment.
The show is organised by the Sunbury Agricultural Society, a volunteer group responsible for staging the annual event at Sunbury Clarke Oval.
Organisers are also using the lead-up to the event to invite community feedback and engagement, asking residents what they are most excited to see or do at the 2026 show.
The Sunbury Show has long been promoted as a community-driven day out, bringing together local exhibitors, traders, performers and volunteer groups, with previous editions featuring a mix of agricultural displays, family entertainment and hands-on activities for children.
