Thousands of Victorians are potentially sitting on a windfall of unclaimed money being held by the State Revenue Office (SRO).
The SRO holds records of money that remain unclaimed after 12 months, including share dividends, salaries and wages, rents and bonds, and proceeds of sales.
It is free to search and free to claim an entitlement, provided you lodge an application form with the supporting documents to prove the money belongs to you.
