Organisers of SunFest are calling on people far and wide to join its annual Grand Street Parade that will wind its way along O’Shanassy St on festival weekend.
In past years community groups and organisations have joined to parade in costumes and uniforms against a backdrop of rhythmic beats and sirens. It’s one of the highlights of the SunFest weekend that will take place Saturday/Sunday 16/17 March.
Organisers say onlookers will see dance groups, elaborately decorated floats and vehicles, and a “magnificent display of culture, creativity, and community”.
The SunFest Grand Street parade is on Saturday 16 March at 12.30 on O’Shanassy St from the IGA roundabout to the village green fountain. The Parade sponsored by Sunbury Connected Communities.
