A major fire broke out at a home on Balmoral Circuit, Sunbury, prompting a large-scale emergency response on Thursday 19 June.
Fire Rescue Victoria arrived at the scene at 7:51pm following multiple Triple Zero (000) reports of a car ablaze inside a garage. Country Fire Authority crews also responded to assist in the fire-fighting effort.
Crews with 11 appliances arrived within seven minutes and were met with a fully engulfed double-storey house. All occupants were safely accounted for.

Firefighters battled the intense blaze from the ground and deployed an aerial appliance to help bring the fire under control. Crews worked quickly to prevent the flames and smoke from spreading to neighbouring properties.
The fire was declared under control by 9:34pm.
Victoria Police, Ambulance Victoria, and utility providers attended the scene to support emergency operations and ensure the area was safe.
