How does your garden grow?

Established in 2012, the Sunbury Community Garden is one of four gardens run by Hume Council.

Despite its excellent facilities, many residents remain unaware of its presence, located on the site of the former Rolling Meadows real estate sales office in Highgrove Dr. Plots are available now and anyone who loves gardening and wants to learn or share their skills are welcome.

The garden features more than 30 individual plots, a large communal plot, and another plot dedicated to supporting local charities. An orchard with approximately 50 fruit trees, a covered BBQ area, and a clubhouse provide members with plenty of space to connect and enjoy the outdoors.

Programs include a children’s gardening initiative and monthly produce swaps, welcoming gardeners of all ages and experience levels. Membership is free, and there are no joining or ongoing fees.
