Craigieburn’s Anzac Park will sparkle with festive spirit next month when Hume City Council’s annual Carols by Candlelight returns.
One of the highlights of Hume’s Christmas calendar, the popular event will once again bring the community together for an evening of music, family fun and Christmas cheer.
This year’s carols will be hosted by Rhonda Burchmore. With a career spanning more than 40 years and regular appearances at the country’s biggest Christmas carols events since the 1990s, Rhonda is sure to add her signature sparkle to the show.
She’ll be joined by a lineup of popular and local performers, including AYDAN, DanceXclusive, Divine Divas Show Choir, Eamonn Conor, Emily Daye, Rance Lazarus, and the Willmott Park Primary School Choir and Ukulele Group.
Musical director Garth Ploog will lead a nine-piece band, bringing a rich live sound to the night’s performances.
The family-friendly event on Saturday, 6 December, from 5pm, is free, alcohol-free, and smoke-free.
And the festive fun doesn’t stop there – Hume City Council has a full program of Christmas activities in the lead-up to the big day, including DIY craft sessions, library story-times, gingerbread making and even letters to Santa.
