Sunbury Neighbour Day is being held this Sunday 30 March with numerous events across the town.
Neighbour Day provides the perfect opportunity to increase social connection in your local areas. You can celebrate in a variety of ways including hosting or supporting events that assist and engage your communities.
Morning Tea at Kimberly – Paw Patrol, Bagels & Coffee: Time 10am – 11:30am. Kimberley Sales Office, Lancefield Rd & Balbethan Dr. Enjoy mouth-watering bagels, crispy hash browns, fresh juice, and coffee, served by Round the Way Bagels. Plus, a special treat for the little ones — a visit from Paw Patrol! Don’t miss the chance for your kids to meet their favourite characters and snap a fun photo.
Men’s Shed Open Day & Sausage Sizzle: Time: 10am – 2pm. Hume Men’s Shed Sunbury, 158 Evans St. Members of the public can request demonstrations throughout the day.
Enjoy Church Sausage Sizzle & Fun for the Kids: Time: 10am – 2pm. Church service, 13 Leichardt St, from 10am – 11am. Super Epic Sunday: Animal Adventures from 10am – 12pm. For kids aged 4-12 years (kids activities, animal farm, face painting!). Sausage sizzle following the service.
Meet your Rainbow Neighbour: Time: 12noon – 2pm. Sunbury & Surrounds LGBTIQ Social Club and Sunbury Cobaw Community Health. Rainbow bingo and lunch for LGBTI people aged 50-plus. Location: Central Sunbury, details provided on registration
Lunch BBQ at Redstone – Sausage Sizzle, petting Zoo & Amusement ride: Time 12noon – 2pm. Free sausage sizzle cooked up by the Rupo Footy Club at Northvale Park, Northvale Park Redstone – Origin Dr. There’ll also be a petting zoo and an amusement ride for the kids.
Afternoon tea at Sherwood Grange – Crumble Corner pop-up: Time 3pm – 4:30pm. Sherwood Grange estate, Elements Display Home, 150 Elizabeth Dr. Enjoy a free serve of Crumble Corner’s delicious apple crumble with mouth-watering trimmings. It’s a great chance to relax, have some fun, and connect with your community.
