Hume City Council is offering residents free graffiti removal kits.
There are two types available. One for sensitive surfaces, such as painted walls and fences, and another for brick and masonry surfaces.
To obtain a graffiti removal kit, visit one of the council’s customer service centres with proof of residency. The council’s Sunbury office is at 44 Macedon St, and is open 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
For larger areas of graffiti, council has a graffiti removal trailer that targets hot spots such as parks, playgrounds, shop fronts, buildings, fences and laneways.
