Summer theatre program for young performers

Young Sunbury actors will have the chance to hone their stage skills this January, with Boilerhouse Theatre announcing a new three-weekend holiday program designed for budding performers.

Boilerhouse’s Summer Sessions will run across three Saturdays – January 11, 18, and 25 – Jacksons Hill, offering children a fun and creative introduction to theatre. Each session will run for two hours and is aimed at young people keen to build confidence, learn performance techniques and gain hands-on experience.

The program is open to all levels of ability, from beginners to those already involved in drama. Families can book a single session for $20, or all three sessions for $50.

Boilerhouse Theatre says more details about the program will be released soon, but expressions of interest are now open. Parents are encouraged to register their child by completing the online survey here.
