Sunbury StreetLife, organisers of the StreetLife Festival, is holding its AGM this month.
The organisation, which has received funds from Hume City Council, was to hold its festival in February 2023. This event was postponed with a new date advertised for 26 November 2023. On Friday 24 November, the organisation announced the event was cancelled.
The event was then moved to Sunday 4 February this year, but the date passed without the event taking place.
Run entirely by volunteers, the festival is thought to have first started in 2012, and is known for its specialty food, home wares, gifts, activities, children’s activities, and street entertainers. Previous festivals have proved very popular with traders, locals and visitors.
StreetLife’s AGM is to take place at Club Sunbury, Riddell Rd, on Tuesday 30 April starting at 7.30pm.
The order of business will be:
- To receive committee reports
- To receive and endorse the financial statements; and
- Elect officers of the association and the ordinary members of the committee
