Sunbury StreetLife festival returns

NOTE: This event was cancelled on Friday 24 November. See story here.

The Sunbury StreetLife Festival is back for 2023 featuring local business and community groups.

Run entirely by volunteers, this free event will offer visitors specialty food, home wares, gifts, activities, community information, children’s activities, and street entertainers.

The event has been operating for 12 years, with a gap during covid, with the support of Hume City Council, local businesses, sponsors, and members of the community.

Among the attractions this year will be cooking classes for children, performances by local bands The Seventh Circle and Elysium, the Ethnic Folkloric Dancing Group, and newly-appointed Hume City mayor Naim Kurt will also make an appearance.

Streetlife will be held in and around O’Shanassy St from 10am to 3pm, on Sunday 26 November.
