Thousands of Victorians will once again Xperience the wonders of winter when the Hume Winter Lights Festival returns on Saturday 17 June (4pm to 10pm) at the Broadmeadows Precinct.
There will be free entertainment from internationally renowned acts such as DJ Havana Brown and The Potbelleez, along with a host of stunning light projections onto precinct buildings, local art, roving performances, food, workshops, and activities.
Visitors will be able to take part in classic winter activities such as ice skating, or warming themselves with mulled wine by local winery Marnong Estate.
Mayor of Hume City, councillor Joseph Haweil says: “It’s fantastic that we can bring this incredibly popular event back to Hume to once again showcase to visitors all that we have to offer, as well as drive visitation to our local tourism and hospitality businesses over the course of the weekend.”
The festival is a free non-ticketed event, but the city council encourages people to register via its Eventbrite page to receive the latest announcements.
Hume Winter Lights Festival is being delivered by Hume City Council in partnership with the Victorian Government’s Suburban Revitalisation program.
