New York backdrop to Boilerhouse Theatre play

Tickets are selling for Ordinary Days, a witty and captivating musical to be performed at the Boilerhouse Theatre, Jacksons Hill, for three nights.

The story features frazzled and uptight student Deb (Becca McAliece) who loses an important notebook somewhere in New York.

Little does she know that Warren (Tim Maguire), a struggling artist and professional cat sitter, will save the day – and change many lives.

Deb and Warren’s actions affect Jason (Ben Prewer) and Claire (Casey Withoos), a couple inching toward marriage and who ultimately can’t seem to figure each other out.

Ordinary Days by Adam Gwon is being produced by the Boilerhouse Theatre Company in collaboration with the Essendon Theatre Company.

The first performances will be at The Boilerhouse Community Arts Centre, Sunbury, March 21, 22, and 23.

Providing the music is Jem Sherwill on keyboards, there will be cabaret style seating, and theatre-goers can take food and drink to enjoy during the show.

Tickets for Sunbury are available here.

The final performances will be at Bradshaw St Community Hall, Essendon, April 4, 5, and 6. Tickets for Essendon are available here.
