Triple 000 call takers received several calls for a house on fire in Sunbury at 7.50am Saturday 2 March.

Twenty FRV firefighters arrived at the Belleview Dr address within five minutes of the calls to find a brick house with the front two rooms on fire.  Three people were safely evacuated from the property.

Crews wearing breathing apparatus tackled the fire which had spread to the roof space.

The fire was under control within 15 minutes of the first fire tender arriving on scene, with the fire extinguished by 8.28am.

No injuries were reported. No details of the cause of the blaze have been released.

Both power and gas companies were on scene isolating services to the property.

Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria crews arrived to assist.

A fire spokesperson says the cause of the blaze is not known.
