Volunteers wanted for ‘Keep Hume Clean’ video

Hume City Council is calling on local residents, businesses, community groups and sporting clubs to get involved in a new video series promoting cleaner streets, parks and public spaces.

The video series is part of the Council’s Keep Hume Clean campaign, a ratepayer-funded initiative that aims to celebrate community pride and highlight the small, everyday actions that can help keep the city beautiful, safe and sustainable.

Filming will take place in early August, and council is encouraging people from all walks of life to take part – no previous experience is necessary. Participants will also receive a gift card as a thank-you for their involvement.

Council hopes the videos will showcase the power of collective action in keeping neighbourhoods clean and fostering a stronger sense of community.
